  1. Gerald L. Harper

I appreciate that these sodium bicarbonate capsules are aluminum‑free, which gives me peace of mind when taking them regularly. The capsules are easy to swallow and don’t have any unpleasant taste. I noticed improved endurance during workouts without the bloated feeling some supplements cause. The packaging is straightforward and well labeled. It’s nice having a simple supplement that focuses on performance without unnecessary fillers. I’ve found them especially helpful before longer training sessions. This is a solid product for athletes who value clean ingredients.

  2. Norm

A 3-month supply, or as needed, 120 capsules. These come in handy as I can just pop one in after a meal. I used to get my bicarbonate of soda in Alka-Seltzer and other generic brands mixed with water. Works pretty good, not as fast as the other alkaline, but not bad at all. Broken down it would be about 21 cents a cap. Great for travel.

Sodium bicarbonate (chemical formula NaHCO₃) is an alkaline salt commonly known as baking soda. In supplement or medication form, it is taken orally as a tablet, powder, or dissolved solution. In the body, it breaks down into sodium and bicarbonate ions, which neutralize acid in the stomach, blood, and urine.

  4. g-man

These sodium bicarbonate capsules are designed for fitness enthusiasts who want to add a basic buffering ingredient to their fitness or recovery routine. The capsules are easy to take and offer a cleaner option for those who prefer aluminum free formulas. They also include added electrolytes, to support strong workouts or long activity days.
The delayed release design helps the capsules reach the system gradually, which is useful for anyone that finds regular baking soda too harsh to take on its own. They can be used before exercise, during longer training sessions, or as part of a general wellness routine. There are 120 servings per bottle.

  5. The Art of Prepping

Supplement provides building blocks and essentials for electrolytes and muscle functioning. Rosy Botanical has a new supplement for athletes using a sodium bicarbonate base with magnesium malate, potassium citrate and taurine. These ingredients help with exercise recovery, endurance and focus. Brand promotes the fact that supplement has a premium purity rate, is aluminum free and gives 120 capsules per bottle. Lab tested. FDA and GMP compliant manufacturing, gluten free and GMO free. Manufacturered and quality tested in the USA. Take one capsule daily with a meal. Has a three year shelf-life. Helps recovery from work out fatigue faster than with sport drinks. 30 day refund policy. Would recommend, great value, would use again. Supplement is effective and side effect free. Use with confidence.

  6. Dale & Tiffany

I highly recommend these sodium supplements. I noticed an almost immediate effect about an hour and a half after taking them, including reduced soreness in my body and an overall improved sense of well-being.

My daughter has also been taking them, and they have helped her significantly with indigestion and heartburn.

Overall, this has become a supplement we find beneficial to take regularly, as it seems to support both general comfort and digestive health.

  7. Darwin

This sodium bicarbonate capsule supplement is a pretty practical option if you want the benefits of baking soda without dealing with the taste or mess of mixing powders. The capsule form makes it much easier to take consistently and feels gentler compared to drinking it straight. It is commonly used for things like digestive comfort acid balance and even athletic performance since it can help buffer acidity during intense exercise. Delayed or capsule delivery can also help reduce stomach discomfort which is a big reason people choose this format over traditional methods. It is not something you feel instantly but more of a supportive supplement that works best when used strategically or as needed. The formula is usually simple and clean which is nice if you want to avoid unnecessary additives. Overall it is a straightforward and convenient option that does what you expect without overcomplicating things.

I use sodium bicarbonate for heart burn and it does the trick for me. These capsules have worked well. They are kind of big, but I’ve had no issues taking them. Ingredients overall seemed pretty straightforward. There are a couple added that seemed to be OK. I haven’t noticed anything significant as far as recovery after working out, but I do notice a bit of a extra pep in my step if I take one before heading to the gym. Overall happy with them. I will probably order them again.

I’ve been taking electrolytes for many years now . I have Pots and low blood pressure and so for me , this is mandatory. I also Need higher amounts than your average person.

I really like the more balanced formula . Some will only provide sodium , or don’t have good amounts of each thing . Based on the listing , I found the amounts to be great for my needs , especially since I have Higher needs than average .

But for Me personally , not being average , I found That it was better to take two. I do Not recommend to just do this without doc permission. I’ve already been given that. And so I’ve been taking 2 , 2 to 3 times a day . So that means instead of getting 120 servings , I’m only getting 60. And then at twice a day that’s only a month supply , and if three times a day, only a 20 day supply .

I found The label a bit confusing since the totals are not what was stated in listing prior to ordering . But in very very fine print (out come the magnifiers) it says those amounts are derived from the original amount . This is normally something I see On extracts , but this is not said to be an extract and so what am I actually getting here , I’m not sure. Perhaps this is why I needed To double my dose , but maybe it’s just because I’m not your average person .

I think the quality is good and the formula is better balanced than some . For me though it isn’t the greatest value . And I actually cannot use this as my sole source of electrolytes either . I dont Expect this to cover me completely, based on my personal needs , but I was Hoping it would cover me a little longer for the amount.

So far I really like this. I have been using it to help myself out with some indigestion that I unfortunately suffer from. This stuff works better then the pink stuff for sure! For me personally just a dose on the absolute worst days. Unfortunately, I have managed to get some stomach ulcers in the past and because of that I really try to keep my acid levels under control. And again this stuff really, really seems to help with that.

As far as this supplement goes, it does seem to be of excellent quality so far. It’s priced fairly and you get a decent amount for the price paid. Thankfully, It also didn’t leave any bad taste or bad after taste in my mouth after taking it. It was also easy to swallow as well! Sodium Bicarbonate is really great stuff as an as needed kind of thing. I’ll definitely be keeping some in the cupboard from now on.

  11. Jenn

These sodium bicarbonate capsules came in like tiny personal trainers — no yelling, no chalk dust, just clean, simple support that actually makes a difference.

The delayed‑release formula is the real MVP here. Instead of hitting your stomach like a brick, it waits until it can actually help, giving you that buffered, steady support during workouts. Great for anyone who wants the benefits of bicarb without the “why does my stomach sound like a dishwasher” side effects.

The added electrolytes are a smart touch. It feels like someone finally said, “Hey, maybe we should help the muscles and the hydration at the same time.” It’s not a sports drink in a capsule, but it definitely smooths out the edges.

Love that it’s aluminum‑free and focused on pure, simple ingredients. No weird fillers, no mystery powders — just what you actually need. And the 120‑count bottle means you’re stocked for a while, even if you’re training like you’re preparing for the Kayak Olympics.

While this Aluminum Free Sodium Bicarbonate Capsule is designed for athletic performance and recovery, I’m using it as a natural GERD deterrant. It is tastelesss and easy on my stomach due to the time release nature of this supplement. I have not had an upset stomach from taking this either, a huge bonus. I feel much better taking this versus a drug to help keep my GERD symptoms in check too. The electrolytes are an added bonus to help with hydration. This also includes magnesium with helps with sounder sleep and keeping those pesky night leg cramps away! The bottle contains 120 servings, so at one a day, this should last approximately four months. If you’re looking for a natural alternative for your acid refux, try these. You won’t be dissappointed.

  13. Amanda Thatcher

I have been a long time user of sodium bicarbonate for my occasional bouts of GERD, but I am almost out of my usual brand so when this came up for review it only seemed natural to order these and give them a try and I’m happy to say that these work like a charm.

Mind you, you have to be careful not to consume too much sodium bicarbonate in a day because it is possible to overdo it and give yourself an upset stomach, but as soon as I feel the familiar sensation of heartburn (or even when I know I’m about to eat anything that might cause heartburn.) I take two of these and am virtually pain free in no time.

I like that they’re also easy to swallow with no aftertaste or funky smells or flavors to contend with and I especially appreciate that since beginning to take these (and sodium bicarbonate in general I’ve been able to cut way back on other leading brands of heartburn relief medications with apparently more alarming side effects.

    5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great all natural remedy for acid reflux.

  14. Tturtle808

I picked this up mainly for workout and recovery support, and overall I think it’s a solid supplement. I like that it’s made with pure sodium bicarbonate and is aluminum-free—feels clean and straightforward without a bunch of unnecessary fillers.

What really sets it apart is the added blend of magnesium, potassium, and taurine. It feels more well-rounded than just basic sodium bicarbonate capsules and makes more sense for hydration, muscle function, and overall performance support.

The capsules are easy to take, and I haven’t noticed any weird taste or after-effects, which is always a plus. I also like the idea of the delayed-release design—it seems easier on the stomach compared to other similar products.

As far as results, it’s not something super dramatic that you instantly feel, but I do feel like it helps a bit with overall endurance and recovery, especially during more intense workouts. It’s more of a subtle support than a noticeable “boost,” which I’m okay with.

I also appreciate the transparency with ingredients and testing—it gives more confidence in what you’re taking. I also like that it has a 3 year life span- I am 100% sure it wont last that long but hey if there is a sale you can safely stock up with out worrying they will go bad!

  15. BillE

I’ve tested a lot of “performance” supplements, and most of them either overpromise or hide behind proprietary blends. This one is refreshingly straightforward. Rosy Botanical keeps the formula clean: aluminum‑free sodium bicarbonate, plus magnesium malate, potassium citrate, and taurine — all disclosed, no filler fluff, no mystery compounds. For a category that’s usually just baking soda in a capsule, this is a more thoughtful build.

The delayed‑release capsule is the standout feature. Standard bicarb can hit your stomach like a cement mixer, but this DRcaps format really does soften the blow. No sloshing, no “bicarb burps,” none of the usual GI roulette. For anyone who’s tried to use baking soda for performance before, that alone is a win.

Performance‑wise, this isn’t a dramatic “feel it instantly” supplement. It’s more of a subtle buffer — something you notice over time during higher‑intensity sessions, not a pre‑workout jolt. If you’re doing HIIT, rowing, sprint intervals, or anything that spikes acidity, this makes more sense. If you’re strictly lifting, the benefits are less obvious.

I also appreciate the electrolyte support baked in. Magnesium malate and potassium citrate aren’t window dressing — they round out hydration and muscle function in a way plain bicarb doesn’t. It’s a smarter formula than most of the single‑ingredient options in this category.

    Pros
Clean, transparent ingredient list — no aluminum, no fillers

Delayed‑release capsules noticeably reduce stomach discomfort

Electrolyte blend (Mg, K, taurine) adds real functional value

Easy to swallow, no taste, no aftereffects

Versatile: works for athletic buffering and digestive comfort

    Cons
Effects are subtle unless you’re doing high‑intensity training

Not a daily wellness supplement — more of a “use with intention” product

Some athletes may need multiple capsules to match powder‑level dosing

If you want a clean, well‑designed sodium bicarbonate supplement that avoids the usual GI issues and adds meaningful electrolyte support, this is one of the better capsule‑based options. It’s not a miracle worker, but it’s thoughtfully formulated and easy to integrate into a performance or recovery routine.

A solid pick for athletes, endurance‑focused training, or anyone who wants the benefits of bicarb without drinking a glass of salty chalk.

The expiration date for the lot I received is 03/2029.

  16. Charlotte

I have been increasing my workouts lately and find that electrolytes are essential for my recovery and energy for the day. I don’t like to take electrolytes as a drink mix as they usually contain sweeteners that make me crave sugar all day, so I am thrilled that only one capsule per day gives me the boost that I need. This formula also contains a form of magnesium, potassium and taurine that’s great for energy and endurance. I am just a regular person, not an athlete but this formula is just what I needed! I highly recommend it.
